Purpose : Dig the ground to find things, like rings. (Down the mountain) Inside, near the Chao Mystic Ruins garden you should find the Shovel Claws. Knuckles' Upgrades* *********************** _ a) SHOVEL CLAWS Location : Near Tails' workshop is a cave. Purpose : It's green, it's stronger, it's faster, it's better. After 'Hot Shelter', replay the mini-game 'Hedgehog Hammer' a second time and beat your high score. _ b) LONG HAMMER Location : Go in Adventure Mode with Amy and aboard the Egg Carrier. Purpose : You can now perform the Spin Attack Hammer. Amy's Upgrades* ******************* _ a) WARRIOR FEATHER Location : Beat the mini-game 'Hedgehog Hammer' aboard the Egg Carrier for the first time. You can spin continuously, attacking with your tails. Purpose : You can now perform the Rapid Tails Attack. You can't leave the past without it anyway. When Tikal brings you back in the past, the Rhythm Badge can be found somewhere left of the 'temple'. _ b) RHYTHM BADGE Location : It took me some time finding this one. Purpose : Now you can fly faster and longer. In a room up there you'll find the Jet Anklet. Use Tails' ability to fly and go up the hole. Go at the end near the gate and you'll notice a hole in the ceiling. Tails' Upgrades* ******************** _ a) JET ANKLET Location : In Station Square, left of Twinkle Park is the entrance to the sewers. Purpose : You can now perform the Light-Speed Attack. Behind a big rock before the footbridge, you should find the Ancient Light. But instead of going there, go down the tunnel to the end and you'll end up near the Master Emerald Shrine (I guess that is Floating Island). _ c) ANCIENT LIGHT Location : After 'Speed Highway', take the train to Mystic Ruins and go inside the cavern where the Ice Cave is. Hey that's some nice blue bracelet Sonic. Purpose : Now you can charge up the Light-Speed Dash twice faster than before. Quickly light-speed dash through the line of rings before the door closes. Press the other button and the door to the other side will open. Go upstairs and press the button to make a line of rings appear. _ b) CRYSTAL RING Location : After getting the Light-Speed Shoes, go to the hotel. I'd like to have running shoes like these. Purpose : You can now perform the Light-Speed Dash and dash through lines of rings. Drop down in the hole and jump on the 'balcony' over you. The car's now gone and you can access the sewers. Sonic's Upgrades* ********************* _ a) LIGHT-SPEED SHOES Location : After 'Windy Valley', return to the place where a car was on a hole leading to the sewers (Station Square).
